Suggestion Box

This term the Public Relations team has been working on Suggestion Boxes and they’ll come out next Friday. The Suggestion Boxes are for anybody wanting things to happen in the school. They can also be used for suggestions for the newsletter. There will be 4 boxes in total, one upstairs in the 5/6 level, one in the Foundation hallway, another in the 3/4 hallway and the final one in the 1/2  area will be in Mrs Ripp´s room. The boxes will be collected every second Friday just after snack. Just keep in mind that we may not be able to make your suggestions a reality!

Lent

Lent is an important part of the Church calendar. Lent lasts for 40 days (not counting the Sundays). It begins on Ash Wednesday which is next Wednesday 2nd March. We will celebrate a special Mass with Fr Andrew and Fr Hoang on our grass area at 2.15pm.  As our Mass is outside we invite our families to join us. The day before Ash Wednesday is known as Shrove Tuesday or ‘Pancake Tuesday’. We will each be receiving a pancake on the day.

Competition

For the next three weeks we are going to have a competition. You have to draw/ write/ create something that means community to you. It can’t be too big and make sure you have your name on the back. You can start bringing them into Tracey in week 7 and the deadline is Week Eight, Friday March 18. We the Public Relations team will have a look at them and there will be three prize winners. Have Fun!
