Year 7 & 8

Matina Konstantinakos

Hello everyone and welcome to the Junior Years September update.

It continues to be a great way for us to showcase the amazing learning that is still taking place at John Fawkner College.

Schooling is essentially a human and collaborative enterprise and we are all missing those real, joyful and interesting daily human interactions we usually have on campus. Although we would all rather be back on school grounds and in classrooms I think it is definitely a time to celebrate different student accomplishments in remote learning.

Make sure you’re taking breaks, stretch, chat with friends, do something fun – make sure you’re having a laugh.

Year 7 and 8 Activity Day

Over the last two weeks the year 7 and 8 cohorts took part in an activity day set up by Mr Campbell and his team.

Students spent the day completing different fun tasks including a paper plane building and flying task and a cooking task.

It was a great turn out with lots of amazing creating.

Reminders

With the end of term fast approaching please remember to...

  • Submit all work once you have completed it. This way you will not fall behind or lose it.
  • Message your teachers if you need help.
  • Start thinking about uniform for term 4. If you do not have an item you need now is the time to purchase it from the uniform shop.
  • Until next time stay safe and if an opportunity arises to be kind to someone, take that opportunity, or make it.
