School Council Report

School Council Meeting – Monday 10 August

Back to home schooling in term three and the challenges that presents for our kids, family dynamics, teachers and FPS was the focus of discussion at council last week.  

Results from the recent Community Connection parent survey were discussed. Moving forward you will be hearing from the school on some strategies being developed to try and support greater community connections. 

It was acknowledged that with current restrictions in place, community connection is more important than ever, but also more difficult than ever to undertake on a large scale. School Council is committed and looking at ways of bringing us all together on a variety of different levels, if you have ideas please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Whilst at a reduced capacity in line with Stage 4 restrictions, building works are continuing on Wingrove Street.
