Student Services

Attention Students!

Next time you’re using Compass, be on the lookout for a Student Services “class” called “SS”, along with its news feed and notes. This is not a real class, but it is an online hub for all of you where you can find tips, app reviews, and weekly challenges to keep you motivated and encouraged throughout the term. Try some of the challenges with your friends and family, and give the apps a go for a week to see what you think. Be sure to let us know which challenges and tips you’ve tried and enjoyed!

Note: The best way to find the class on Compass is to type “Student Services” in the search bar, and follow the link to “SS” with KIR (Amy) listed as the teacher.

Here are some recommendations of activities that students could engage with during the school holidays:

  • Keep in contact with friends via telephone or video chat on a regular basis and
  • Start a new hobby (jigsaws, gardening, drawing, family board games, meditation through smiling mind app and cook your favourite meal or treat
