Year 7 & 8

On Monday 12th October we welcomed back our year 7 students with open arms. 

On the day students engaged in multiple bonding activities to help re connect students to the John Fawkner College style. 

Some were anxious and others were roaring to go which made the day an emotional return with much needed conversations and socializing to try bring some normality back to our students lives.

The year 7 Cohort received a welcome back gift to show our appreciation of their amazing efforts during the remote learning process. This helped bring a smile to faces. 

The year 8 Cohort are progressing well with all students preparing for their onsite return next week. I'd like to encourage all students to maintain a high standard awaiting their return. 

Some friendly reminders:

• Face masks must be worn at all times in line with current guidance for Victorian schools.
• Hands off policy applies to ensure everyone is staying Covid Safe.
• Bring all equipment back to school.
• NO PHONES policy still applies.
• Charge your laptops ready for every day.
