Please read this excerpt from a letter received from the Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council:

At this stage, there has been no formal announcement moving forward in regards to any representative sporting pathways program (Armidale, Polding & NSWPSSA), however CSNSW Sport will provide an update from the NSW School Sport Unit as soon as possible. We are hopeful of receiving a further update soon.

At this stage, All School Sports Australia (National) championships, NSWPSSA Championships, Polding Trials and Armidale Diocesan Trials have been cancelled until Week 7, Term 3. Anything that has already been cancelled previously in the year will not be rescheduled for later in the year. 

It will be very unlikely that the Diocesan, Polding and State Athletics Carnivals will go ahead BUT THIS IS NOT CONFIRMED.

This is what is currently restricted:

• Inter-school sport competitions such as zone sport, state wide competitions and knockouts, gala days or inter-school carnivals are not permitted.
• School carnivals such as athletics, cross country and swimming carnivals are not permitted. 
• Full contact and semi-contact sports are not permitted.
