Out and About the School

Real Talk

Real Talk is all about getting real on the topics of sex, relationships and personal identity. Based on Christian values and using personal sharing from a team of dynamic presenters, Real Talk provides presentations, programs and up-to-date resources. We want all young people to know their true value, worth and dignity and to experience love for all it was created to be.

 

Next week Years 4 and 6 will be participating in Real Talk sessions during school.

There will also be a Parent Session being held via zoom on Tuesday 8 September. We strongly encourage parents of Year 4 and 6 children to attend the zoom session.

COVID-19 Updated guidelines

 The following guidelines are required to be implemented from Wednesday 19 August 2020 and will be reviewed by NSW Health at the end of the term. 

 

Staff and students that are unwell

NSW Health requires that:

  • Staff and students, with even mild symptoms of COVID-19, are required to be sent home from school.
  • Staff and students absent or sent home due to flu-like symptoms need to be tested for COVID-19.
  • Staff and students are not able to return to school until they return a negative COVID-19 result and are symptoms free.
  • Schools must sight the negative COVID-19 test result prior to allowing staff and students to return to school.
  • Details of COVID-19 symptoms as per NSW Health.
  • Some discretion is to be used when a known condition could be contributing to symptoms and in the absence of other risk factors (recent travel to a known hotspot).
  • Details of the testing procedure and testing clinics can be found here.
  • Staff or students that have a member of their household awaiting a COVID-19 test result are permitted to attend school.

School Fees

Term 3 school fees are now overdue. Please contact the office if you have any concerns with the payment of your fees.

Canteen

Sue Strachan would like to send a huge thank you to everybody that supported the canteen pie drive. Manilla Bakery did a wonderful job filling all the orders. It was great to support local.

Kindergarten 2021

We have almost finalised our enrolments for Kinder 2021. If you are a current family and are yet to enrol your child, you need to do this ASAP. Please do not assume we know your younger child is ready to start school. It makes it very difficult to plan student numbers when we receive late enrolments.
