Systems Technology

Over the past 4 weeks in Systems Technology students in Year 8 have been working on a Make a Difference Project.

They have been asked to look at the United Nation's Sustainable Development goals and design a product that will help solve/minimise an issue currently happening on a global scale. Students were asked to search around their homes for scrap materials to build their prototypes after they had researched the issue and design their product.

Some students built games to help improve mental health in developing countries, others built rubbish collectors for land and sea, a few built 'traps' to help capture and rehabilitate injured wildlife and some even built water filtration systems.

All students did a fantastic job with this task. Below are some pictures from projects by Jake and Harry 8E, Jack L and Naomi 8G and Nathan and Teesha 8A.
