2023 St Simon Year 2 and 4 Swimming Program

Well done to our Year 2 and 4 students who made a strong effort in completing the 2 week swimming program. Student’s will be relayed the level they have completed from the program. Here are a few comments from our students about their experience:

I felt excited to go swimming and when I got there, we did freestyle and backstroke and kick on our backs.

The thing I learnt about swimming is that whenever you are doing a stroke keep your chin down. I felt really excited about doing swimming and I wanted to show how good I was.

  • Lachlan 2 Green

When I got there I was a bit nervous but I wanted to find out more about it and I was brave enough to swim. When I gave it a go I felt really good.

  • Porzia 2 Blue

I really enjoyed the swimming program and we have been working on butterfly and breaststroke. I feel like I have improved in all my strokes.

  • Matilda 4 Green

I really enjoyed the swimming program and we did strokes up and down the pool. I like the instructors there, they were good at telling us what to do.

  • Patrick 4 Blue

The swimming program really helped me to improve my swimming. The teachers there were very helpful and nice and made it really good. I got better at dolphin kicks and I think it will really help me in my future swimming.

We wish to thank our Year 2 and 4 parents for their effort with preparing their child/ren ready for their lessons every day with their packed swimming bags. Thank you to our Year 2 and 4 teachers for their wonderful support of your child/ren during the swimming program.
