Year 9 Performing Arts - Student Report

Over the last fortnight in our Performing Arts class we have begun the development stage for our big performance in Term Two. One of the highlights of recent weeks has been the opportunity to explore the interactions between the actors, directors and design crew and making our performance come to life. With multiple acts to plan and rehearse, both the on-stage and production role crew were able to look over and discuss prospect choices for their plays by examining different materials and developing a deeper understanding of each production role. Our classes have been really engaging for everyone and allowed us to develop skills such as public speaking and expressive skills, along with allowing us to learn how to work within a professional production and develop employability skills.
