AGM and Next Meeting
The Parents & Friends Association invites all new and returning families to join us at the upcoming AGM and first meeting of the new committee on Monday 27 March 2023 at The John Landy Centre.
You will have the opportunity to meet our current group of parents that are the P&F for EDSC and we will be happy to share how this dynamic group supports the College.
The Parents & Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who provide assistance at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. P&F also fundraises with a focus to raise extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the College community.
Come join us, be involved and stay informed about the exciting events that take place in our children's school.
Those who have already expressed interest will be sent an email invite. If any more members of the school community would like to join, please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will very happily add you on to the distribution list.
16 March - EDSC Open Night
The Parents & Friends Association members will be present at their booth at the EDSC Open Night on Thursday 16th March 2022. Please come by to say Hi.
8 March – HOLI
Wishing the Hindu community and many others who celebrate the festival a very “Happy Holi”. A festival of colours which signifies triumph of good over evil and also marks the arrival of spring in the northern hemisphere was celebrated by many on Wednesday 8 March.
EDSC PFA Meet & Greet Social Night 2023
For the very first time EDSC's Parents & Friends Association organised a Meet & Greet Social Night for all members of the school community on Monday 6 March 2023.
A brilliant response was received by the community for which we thank all parents who took the time to attend this evening full of fun, frolic and laughter, not to forget the sumptuous goodies (all homemade by our very own committee members). We sincerely hope everyone appreciated the exciting prizes awarded and the fun trivia questions which ended with three tables winning and being rewarded with Canteen Vouchers for the kids. It was absolutely fabulous to see everyone and get to know the wider EDSC community.
We hope that this evening provided you with some information regarding the Parents & Friends Association, its members and the efforts put in by our members to add value to our children’s school.
We look forward to seeing you again for some more bonding and fun at many of our future events but definitely at our AGM and first meeting on Monday 27 March 2023 at 7.30pm in The John Landy Centre.
Bake Sale at Parent Teacher Interviews
The Parents & Friends Association will be organising a baked goods stall in The John Landy Centre at the upcoming Term 1 Parent Teacher Interviews on 29 March 2023.
Treat yourself to some delicious sweet and savoury items while you get to know about your child’s progress in school.
We hope to receive your support in large numbers. We will be extremely happy to welcome any volunteers from the wider community who can assist us at this event with an hour or more of their time. Please forward your interest via email to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
