Parent Helpers

Research has shown that parents who take an active role in their child’s school life increase their child’s ability to learn and have a positive effect on academic achievement. At Corpus Christi School, we encourage parents to actively support student learning by becoming involved in a range of school and classroom activities and greatly appreciate the parents and community members who assist and support our programs.

Parents are invited to participate in the Classroom Helpers Program, to assist in classrooms and to accompany students on excursions. We will be running a Parent Helper session, designed to prepare parents to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher in order to support small groups of students during the Literacy Block.

Naplan

Well done to all of our Year 3 and Year 5 students who showed maturity and confidence when completing the NAPLAN tests last week.
