World Autism Day is celebrated each year on April 2. The United Nations’ member states recognise it as a day to acknowledge and advocate for the rights of individuals with autism around the world. The goal of World Autism Day is to increase awareness about Autism signs, symptoms, and information.
Find ways to celebrate differences and promote kindness and inclusivity in our community and encourage others to do the same.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents and carers who made the time to attend a PSG meeting this term. These meetings are extremely valuable and productive and it is great that together as a team we were able to share the students' success and create goals for their future learning. I would like to thank the classroom teachers and the co-educators who work together each and every day to ensure that each child at the School of the Good Shepherd experiences differentiated teaching and learning in a warm and safe environment.
As this is the last newsletter for the term I would like to wish you all a wonderful holiday and a well deserved break. The students have done an amazing job settling into their new year levels and have worked very hard all term. May they have a great two weeks recharging and enjoying their freetime.
Easter is a time to rejoice and be thankful for the gift of life, love and joy. I would like to wish you all a very Happy Easter and may you have a wonderful time celebrating with your loved ones.
Lord Jesus, we give thanks for your life, death, and resurrection. We thank you for your love and for giving us the chance to have eternal life. We pray that you will help us to remember your sacrifice and to follow you with our hearts always.
