Hello everyone,
Holy Week is fast approaching and everyone at school has been commenting about how quickly Easter has arrived this year. The three pillars we focus on during Lent help these practices to become a habit again. To pray, to go without things some times and to assist others, are things that would be good to practise everyday.
Caritas Project Compassion 2023
Our Caritas fundraising is coming to a close this week. The students have done a great job donating some of their canteen money to go towards providing water for a community that needs it.
I am popping a few ideas below that may help you and your family remember the significance of Holy Week for our Faith Community and for Christians throughout the world.
Wishing you all a blessed, safe and happy Easter,

Prepare Your Heart
1. Read the Easter story.
Don’t wait until Easter Sunday to get reacquainted with the good news of Jesus Christ. Each of the four gospels tells the story a little differently.
Here’s where you can find the Easter story in each gospel:
Matthew 26–28, Mark 14–16, Luke 22–24, John 18–20
2. Find a quiet place to reflect.
Set aside a special place for your family’s devotional times.
3. Attend our Parish services during this season.
You can find the Mass/Service details on the Parish Website.

Prepare yourself and your children for the focus and mood of each service.
4. Highlight Holy Week
Reflect on the major days Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday as a family and remember the traditions associated with each event.
