ART NEWS

Our talented students have been thoroughly enjoying exploring their creativity during their recent Art lessons. With clear goals in mind, relating to our school values, of personal best and enjoyment, students across the school have been working diligently to complete their portfolio tasks.

Our Grade Preps are working hard developing their fine motor skills and knowledge of colour. Their eyes continue to light up in awe, as they continue to familiarise themselves with our beautiful Art room.

Our junior students have been exploring colour families and texture, to create an underwater scene. 

Our Grades 3 to 6 students undertook an author study, and were inspired by Alison Lester’s rich, descriptive texts, “Imagine”, and “Sophie Scott Goes South”, to create their own artworks. The photos below celebrate the completed artworks of some of our students.
