Parking around the school 

Sturt St Service Road parking and drop-off Reminder

After consultation with the City of Ballarat, the following conditions have been implemented in our service lane and have been for some time now.

The first 22m west of the school crossing access path will have parking removed (bollards added, no parking signs) allowing parents and carers to stop as northerly as possible in this space (still allowing the passage of exiting vehicles) to drop off students for school. 

This is a drop off zone not a parking area - 

The “No Standing” signs along the post and rails are in place as a safety measure due to the limited space within the service road. Cars who park in this service lane space cannot reverse out if cars are illegally parked in the no standing zone. Stopping and parking there will be subject to an infringement notice.

Parents who observe these requirements will not be subject to infringement notices when dropping students off at school.
