Friday 10th of March - Round One Summer Gala Day by 5/6M

Cricket - Noa and Caris

Last Friday we went to Freeway Reserve and we played against other schools. The bus left SJV at 9:30am and left freeway reserve  at 2:00pm. There were three teams that we got to play against and SJV had two teams - Team A and Team B. Team B won all three games and Team A didn't win any but they tried their best. Team B played against two teams from Mulgrave and one from St Leonard's  primary school. Team A played against Mulgrave Primary, St Leonard's and Good Shepherd.

Cricket - Dylan and Kevin

On Friday the 10th March we went to Freeway Reserve and to play against other schools in our first Summer Gala Day. Team B managed to win 3/3 games. Unfortunately Team A on the other hand lost all of their games. We had a lot of fun playing our games, it was a great experience being able to play against other schools.

Tennis - Alex and Lucia

On Friday, the 10th of March SJV competed against a few schools, it was a very fun day and sunny. We enjoyed it so much! We played against Good Shepherd, St Justin’s, Waverley Meadows, Mulgrave Primary and St Leonard's. Tennis was so much fun.

Volleyball - Mischa and Ethan

Last Friday the Senior students from SJV went to Mulgrave Primary School to compete in the first Summer Gala day.I played volleyball and we had 3 teams Girls A team and B there was also the mixed team. The A team won 3/5 games and the B team won 0/5  and the mixed team won 3/5 overall. It was so fun and we enjoyed ourselves so much!

Volleyball - Lula and Chloe

Volleyball was played last Friday 10th March at Mulgrave Primary and the SJV Volleyball team were very proud that we got in the competition, Girls A, Girls B and the Mix team all had a fun experience with it and some teams even managed to win some rounds during the event but  overall  volleyball was a great experience because every team got to compete in five games,  we sadly lost a few but in the end we did our best and we can't wait for the finals!

Softball - Jadah and Sofia

 Last Friday, SJV's  softball teams went to Mulgrave Primary to compete against other schools such as  Brandon Park , Mulgrave Primary and St.Leonards . The first school SJV's girls team played against was Brandon Park, it was a very good game, the end outcome was that we lost by one but we made a redemption in game 2 winning by 4 points. The boys team went against 3 schools and won 2 out of 3. Overall it was a very fun day and everyone is looking forward to the next one.

Softball - Isabella 

On Friday the 10th of March, the girls & boys softball team went to Mulgrave Primary School to play against other schools. The first round, the girls softball team played against Brandon Park Primary School, and lost by 2 points. The second round, the girls softball team played against Mulgrave Primary School and won by 4 points. It was a really fun day and we are all looking forward to the next Gala Day.
