Principal Post

Dear Families,

Dear Families,

Our Harmony Day, celebrated yesterday, was such a wonderful event! It was so good to see so many students in cultural dress. Our activities, cultural parade,  Greek Dancing display  and our Harmony Day Liturgy were a great way of building awareness of this important event and what it means at SJV!  Read more and see photos in our Harmony Day Report

Sacrament of Reconciliation

On Saturday some our Year 3 students  will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. We congratulate these students and their families as they take this step in building their relationship with God. May all within our community know of God's abundant love and mercy in our lives. May we strive to a people full of love, justice, acceptance and forgiveness, slow to anger and judge.

I thank the teachers for their preparation of the teaching of the Sacrament here at school and to the families for your preparation.

The Parish will lead the celebration of the Sacrament this Saturday. For any questions around the Celebration of the Sacrament please contact the Parish.

Open Day  - Foundation 2024

We had another successful Open Day yesterday! Prospective families were so impressed with our students and their sense of connection! It was obvious that our students have great pride in their school!! What great advocates our students  are for us!

Families with a child beginning in 2024 should have their completed enrolment form to the office by Friday 31st March. This is important to give us an indication of 'available enrolment positions' for new families.

Camp Australia - Holiday Program

Unfortunately our school will not host a holiday program at SJV for at least the ' First  and Second term holiday period'. This decision is based on 2022 data.
