If you’re wanting to cook up a storm with Mr Irwin you can start assembling the following ingredients: 

Sausages, potato, pumpkin, carrot, chocolate coated biscuits and marshmallows!

Wanting to join in with Mrs Mc for Science on Wednesday. Here’s a list of things to gather beforehand;

Dyed flowers: white flower, food colouring, water.

Colour play: milk, food dye, dishwashing liquid. 

Colour mixing: food colouring, water, paper towel.

Chromatography: textas, paper towel, skewer.

Colour volcano: vinegar, bicarb soda, dishwashing liquid, food colouring, balloon (optional). 

Hold onto your hats! Miss Child is going to be showing off some of her farm trickery on Wednesday including some whip cracking!

Eta Aquariid meteor shower to light up Australian skies.

Set your alarm clock and get ready to see one of the best sky shows over Australia this week.

 

The Eta Aquariid meteor shower, which occurs every May, will peak on the morning of May 6. It rewards sky watchers right across Australia with lots of bright meteors streaking across the sky.

 

The best time to see them is between 2AM and 5AM — or if the weather isn't great, you can still see meteors a day or so before or after.
