Mandatory Wearing of a Face Mask

A reminder that all students over the age of 12 who wait at a station or stop and use public transport - it is mandatory for them to wear a face mask unless they have an exemption. At this current time, it is almost the case that a face mask is an unofficial piece of the school uniform. Similarly, at any time it is disappointing to receive comments from members of the public about students failing to represent the College uniform well.

Melinda Tankard Reist Presentation

In last week’s newsletter, I referred to a presentation on the impact of pornography on the wellbeing and relationships of young people to be given to students, staff and parents. Unfortunately, our presenter is currently still in lockdown and is unable to fulfil our booking.

With no alternative date for 2021 available, the College is currently looking to rebook for a suitable date early next year.

Year 11 Social

Parents and carers of Year 11 students will be receiving shortly an email with information about the Year 11 social to be held Thursday 14 October and ordering for the 2022 senior jerseys.

The social is an event students very much look forward to. Hopefully, the event will not be impacted by COVID-19 restrictions when it nears.

RUOK? Awareness Day

A reminder that this Thursday is a free dress day for students supporting the RUOK? organisation. This also coincides with the guest speaker presentation by Mr Tudor Vasile, founder of the Mental Awareness Foundation at Thursday’s father and son breakfast.
