  • Week 4- Foodbank Food Sensations The Food Sensations® for Schools Program is a fun and hands-on nutrition education program which is available to School Breakfast Program Schools. The students will learn about healthy foods, recipe reading, participate in cooking and lots more! These sessions will be held in the Home Ec Room. (It is for Year 3-10 students only).

                  12th August: 9am-10:30am Year 5/6 class

                  12th August: 11:20am-1pm Year 3/4 class

                  13th August: 1:20-3pm Year 7-10 group

  • Week 5- National Science Week: We have Fervor  visiting on Tuesday 17th August as a combined NAIDOC and Science Week event (thanks to three grants!). These sessions will be held in the Home Ec Room (TBC) and there will be opportunities for students to hear about the local flora and fauna, participate in taste testing as well as hearing from Fervor and Brian in regards to Indigenous food sources and history.  This will be a taste sensation for everyone and parents and community members are invited to come along.
    • K/PP/1/2: 9:30am-10:30am
    • 3/4/5/6: 11:20am-12:20pm
    • Secondary:  2pm-3pm
       
  • Week 5- Secondary Athletics Carnival will be from 9am-12pm at the Mukinbudin Oval. All Secondary students and staff will be involved with this day along with other supporting staff and parents. More info to come.
     
  • Week 5-  Thursday 19th August -Year 1/2 Assembly at 2:15pm.
     
  • Week 6- DISA Athletics in Koorda: More information will be sent out as we receive it.  Lunch Orders due back by Monday 16th August.
     
  • Week 7- Pirate Day inc. fathers Day: More information to follow but ALL classes will be participating and Dads/parents/Grandparents will be invited to come along to the Primary classes (in costume of course!!).
     
  • Week 7- Art Show week from Tuesday 31st August- Friday 3rd September.  This will be from 8:30am-4:00pm daily, parents/community members can come and sign in at the office and then view the art on display in the art room.
     
  • Week 8- Toodyay Dance School: This is the first time we have had them visit and we are very excited to see what they bring to the school! There will be a concert on Thursday 9th September for all parents to come along to, at 12:20pm. There will be two  dance teachers coming and the students will be able to choose between Acro/Jazz/Ballet or Hip Hop.
     
  • Week 10- Thursday 27th is the K/PP Assembly at 2:15pm.
