Book Week

Hi everyone,

Nationally, Book Week was celebrated last week. Unfortunately, because of the lockdown situation, we had to postpone the book parade as wanted to do this in person. The Monty South book parade is such a fun event that brings lots of laughter and happy faces so we will advise you of a new date when things settle down a bit and we are all back together at school.

We have included in this newsletter, a link for one of our world famous book week staff skits if you would like to watch it. It is last year's video, “Where is the Green Sheep?”

In these hard times, we hope that this video helps to put a smile on your faces.

We miss you, stay safe and hopefully we will see each other soon.

Reading is the BEST!

Lots of love,

Clare Bear xxx

eSmart Week September 6th - 10th

We are an eSmart school which is a part of The Alannah and Madeline Foundation. Their aim is to promote the smart, safe and responsible use of digital technology. Next week, each class will have a range of activities to complete on topics such as the importance of digital reputation, privacy, gaming, in-app purchasing, traps, screen-time implications, staying safe, cyber bullying as well as friends and strangers. At a time when we are all on our devices while learning from home, it is important to make sure we use them appropriately.

You can turn on parent controls on apple devices by clicking on this link:
