STEM Day

Today, all students participated in a STEM Day within our Stages. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics. Students will participate in authentic projects, where they will make clear connections between syllabus outcomes and real-world application. Through STEM, students apply skills, knowledge and understandings the way they will be applied in the workforce and in their daily lives. Students also develop key skills including:

  • critical thinking
  • creativity
  • problem-solving
  • collaboration
  • communication
  • independent thinking
  • initiative
  • digital literacy

Thank you to Mrs Parsons and Mrs Barratt for their organisation of the day.
