King's Got Talent Competition

King's Got Talent 2021

Ps Michael Battersby

The annual King’s Got Talent showcases our many talented students here at The King’s College. This event creates a safe space for our students to share their God-given gifts for the school community to enjoy. Talents can be anything from singing, dancing or playing an instrument (or another creative expression).

The Primary King’s Got Talent is open to all Year 3 to 6 students. Primary heats will take place on Thursday 2 September from 1.00 pm – 2.30pm. The Secondary King’s Got Talent is open to all Year 7 to 12 students. Secondary heats will take place on Friday 3 September from 1.30 pm – 3.00pm.

Finalists will be announced at the end of each heat.  King’s Got Talent finals will take place on Thursday 9 September at 6.00pm in the College Auditorium. Parents/carers and families are welcome to attend the finals to support the performing students.

Students are encouraged to register by completing this KGT Entry Form by Wednesday 18 August. Please note the following:

  1. All performances must be tasteful and appropriate. Students will be refused the right to perform if their item or music used is deemed to be inappropriate by the judges.

  2. All backing tracks must be: trimmed to 2 minutes (for primary items) and to 2.5 minutes (for secondary items); in MP3 format; and emailed to socialmedia@tkc.wa.edu.au no later than 4.00pm on Wednesday 25 August.

  3. All participants must adhere to usual College uniform expectations. No costume change is allowed, except for dance items where students are permitted to get changed into their College sports attire.

We look forward to seeing what our exceptional students can do!
