Design Technology From Home

We may be in lock-down but creative thinking and making is still keeping minds and hands active during Design Technology classes.

7DT students have been working on challenges that rely on good scavenger hunting skills and lots of resourcefulness as they made desk organisers, bird feeders (requiring research into suitable foods) from found materials. There’s also an innovative little make-up purse made from a plastic mattress cover. 

Year 9 and 10 Jewellery Design students were given the challenge to make jewellery using fabric offcuts and other recycled/upcycled materials scavenged from home. Here are some of the results:
