Leadership and teaching positions available
St Anne’s College is seeking applications from outstanding leaders and teachers to join our team in 2022. It is an exciting time to be part of our young college, with rapidly increasing enrolments and the construction of more amazing new facilities soon to commence. If any of these positions sound like the role for you, we’d love to hear from you!
Bookings open for PSG meetings
Consultation and collaboration are important elements of personalised learning for students at St Anne's College. Where a student has additional learning needs, a Program Support Group (PSG) involving key stakeholders, with the greatest knowledge of the student, is formed to work collaboratively to address their needs. The PSG meets once per term to discuss your student's learning needs and adjustments that are required to enhance their ongoing learning journey, celebrate learning and growth, review goals and set new short-term goals and strategies that will support your son/daughter to achieve these.
Parents of students who currently have a PSG can now book their Term 3 meeting on PAM (Parent Access Module) in the Parent Teacher Interviews tab. Bookings are open now and will close on Monday, August 9 at 4:00pm.
CSEF application deadline extended for 2021
To support families during COVID-19 restrictions, the Department of Education and Training (DET) has extended the deadline for Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) applications to Friday 13 August 2021. The CSEF helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. Families with a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veteran Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, as well as temporary foster parents, are eligible to apply. There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families. The means-tested concession cards must be valid on any of: the first day of Term 1 (Wednesday 27 January 2021); the first day of Term 2 (Monday 19 April 2021); the first day of Term 3 (Monday 12 July 2021). Please contact the college office if you require further information. A copy of the CSEF application form is attached. Please submit to the college office as soon as possible.
PAM main source of communication with families
Parents/carers are reminded to ensure that they regularly check the Parent Access Module (PAM) as it is the main source of communication between the college and families.PAM is the portal through which parents receive activity permission forms and important daily messages. The college does not use printed paper forms/notes to communicate this information. Parents/carers can also use PAM to check on their child's learning areas and to send parent-notified student absences. PAM is also the portal through which students' reports are accessed. It is important to log into PAM daily to check any updates or notices. If you have misplaced or forgotten your PAM login details please contact administration at office@sackialla.catholic.edu.au
Parents/carers can download the SIMON Everywhere app to get live notifications on everything that happens in PAM. Just search for 'SIMON Everywhere' on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, download the app and sign in with your PAM account.
Feedback form available on PAM
There is a link in the parent resources section of PAM which gives access to a feedback form for parents/carers to convey any feedback they would like to provide to the college.
