Enhancing Catholic School Identity

Over the next few weeks, we will be asking staff, students and parents to participate in the Enhancing Catholic School Identity (ECSI) survey. For parents, the purpose of this survey research is to gain meaningful insights into how your son or daughter's school community views its Catholic identity today and how such identity might be shaped for tomorrow. The survey should take about 55 minutes to complete. We would like to invite our parent community to complete the survey, and will make available laptops and support with accessing the survey on Thursday 22nd March from 2:00 p.m. If you are able to complete the survey, could you please contact Dan by 5th March for more details.

Project Compassion is an initiative of Caritas Australia. During Lent, we are asked to support this fundraising project by donating money. Each family and classroom has been sent a Project Compassion box for the collection of any money you are able to donate to this cause. In 2018, Project Compassion is working towards empowering young people to

build a just future for themselves, their families and their communities. We are also proposing to hold a fundraising activity, to be organised by our school leaders, as a social justice project.

During Lent, we are exploring topics focusing on Lent and the events, symbols and stories of Holy Week.

Foundation: Following Jesus – Loving and Serving (Holy Week)

Year 1: Journey Towards the Cross

Year 2: Lent and Holy Week

Year 3 / 4: Leant and Easter – A Time for Hope

Year 5 / 6: A Time of God’s Generosity

As we prepare for Easter, we continue with our Prayer Services on Friday at 2:45 p.m. and listen to the Gospel stories that follow Jesus as He journeys towards His death and resurrection.
