Interschool Sport
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the rest of the term for Interschool Sport due to COVID–19.
I would like to thank all the extra people who assisted the teams this term so that our students could compete against the other schools.
A very special than you to:
Mel Donald – Red Team Boys Teeball
James Annesley – Red Team Tennis
Carly Thomson – Blue Team Girls Teeball ( Carly’s daughter was actually playing another sport but because we were short an adult supervisor, Carly volunteered to help another team)
Shan Pearse – Blue Team Volleybounce
Jenny Barr - Blue Team Girls Cricket
Mel Page – external volunteer
Jimmy Parker – Red Team Sofcross - ex student – Pre Service Teacher
Josh Robertson – Blue Team Girls Basketball - ex student – Pre Service Teacher
Jarred Wills – Assisting Jimmy with the Red Team Sofcross – OSCH employee, ex student.
We are very appreciative of our wonderful community to have helped us out so much.
Other Sports Events Cancelled
Regretfully we have also cancelled the House Athletics Sports and all the Team Vic trials that were to take place the 2nd week back in April. This also includes the Team Vic Tennis Trials which were to take place next week.
At this stage we may look at having our House Athletics at school in the different levels and just do a Round Robin of events on the oval, either Term 2 or Term 3, however it all depends on social distancing rulings into the future. As everything is playing out at the moment , we take one day at a time. We look forward to being creative next term with our sporting program.
Also watch this space for the House Cross Country, whether we actually go ahead next term, or we may just postpone it to later in the year as there will be no District or Division Cross Country in Term 2, therefore no rush to have it done by a certain date.

Be the “I” in kind - don't forget to WEAR ORANGE TOMORROW!
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is an important day to mark Australian school students standing together in their communities to say ‘Bullying. No Way!’
Please wear something ORANGE to help support the day on Friday March 20th.
Students will participate in activities to understand the importance of raising awareness of bullying and will help towards creating a whole school kindness display.
