PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

WELCOME

Welcome to the beginning of the 2018 school year at St Joseph’s College. It is great to be back.  I hope that you had a peaceful and happy time with your family and friends over Christmas and the New Year.

St Joseph’s College is an extraordinary place, where faith and community inspire excellence.

In 2018 our community will be brought together with a common theme, Justice. We believe our students to be people of hope with the generosity of heart to show justice, both in their decision making and in their relationships with others.

With the renewal of a new year comes the firm resolution to achieve the desired results and outcomes for our students. I am enthused by the many exciting initiatives for our College that are in the pipeline, all of which are intended to meet the educational needs of our students and community.

This year at St Joseph’s College we will once again strive for strong academic and Mercy traditions while finding ways to meet the changing needs of our students. We set high academic expectations, challenging our students holistically, we provide support systems to ensure that each student works to their potential, our College is committed fostering the growth and development of the whole child.

It is the belief of the College that a partnership between home and school is significant to each child’s success and it is what our students deserve.  I feel blessed to be a part of a community where this is evident.

Let us continue to come together, not only to celebrate the traditions of the past, but to also embrace the changes and challenges of the future. I am looking forward to working with you and our students in the year to come.

God Bless,

Mrs Marg Blythman
