Colour Run  

For the first time, our school will participate in a  COLOUR RUN. This will be held on Friday 13th March, from 4 – 8 pm! This family-friendly community event will be an opportunity for you to meet other parents, families and school staff in a relaxed and fun environment. 

Friday 13th March also begins with a wonderful event encouraging safe, sustainable, active transport to school as part of the  National Ride2School Day. 

All the details can be found in this newsletter, so read on. Compass reminders will also be in place to make this one of the most exciting day in our school year

Welcome to the new people in our community

This year we have welcomed over one hundred new families to our school and interviewed all the new 2020 Prep students using the Department of Education English and Maths online assessment tools.

Our Open Classroom morning coincided with the 2020 Preps starting and it was wonderful to see many families taking the time to sit in on classes and have a good look around! Thanks for taking the time to show your interest.

Activities outside of the school 

Year 4 have attended the Surf Camp at Anglesea and Year 6 are in Canberra this week. District swimming event was held last week and North Melbourne Primary School came out overall winners.  Well done to all who attended for your fair and competitive behaviour shown at the event.
