Australian Maths Competition 

In August students from Years 3 to 5 put their problem solving skills to the test competing in the annual Australian Maths Competition. Congratulations to the 220 NMPS students who participated in the competition. 

This year we had three students demonstrate their mathematical process by being awarded certificates for High Distinction:

Alex Markham Sanchez (Year 4): 98th percentile

Ray Cao (Year 5): 97th percentile

Tim Lu (Year 3): 97 percentile

Special mention goes to Alex who also received the prestigious award of Best in School for receiving the highest score achieved by a NMPS student.
