Italian / Drama Incursion

On Wednesday the Year 5 and 6 students were treated to a joint Drama / Italian incursion.  The theatre company Make A Scene performed the play Pinocchio in the style of Commedia dell'Arte (comedic improvisation). A single actor brought many characters to life through the use of puppets, costumes and masks, demonstrating fabulous physicality and wonderful use of voice. 

The students delighted in seeing their classmates brought onto the stage to be transformed into Gatto and Candlewick, with a highlight being our Drama teacher Dan featuring as the Blue Fairy.
