Things To Do

POLICE NEED YOUR HELP

For the 17th straight year the Melbourne North Police Station in conjunction with the Melbourne North Police Community Consultative Committee are holding their annual Christmas Toy/Food drive.

Melbourne North police are asking the local community to donate non-perishable food items/groceries as well as new toys to us which we then pass onto to local service providers who support those doing it tough at this time of year.

This year we are again supporting the following agencies.

The Venny children’s communal back yard and support service in Kensington

Ronald Mc Donald House in Parkville.

Could I please ask you to promote this event to your colleagues, students, friends, groups.  I know many work places have a gift giving tradition amongst staff.  Perhaps this year your work places could making a donation to this initiative.

We are collecting donations up until the 18th of December, with donations being accepted at the Melbourne North Police Station, or any of collection points listed on the attached flier.

I can also arrange to attend and collect donations from your organisation.

Should anyone have any questions please feel free to contact me or pass on my details.

Thank you very much and wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
