Banksia Update
What’s happening in 2/3
The students from Banksia have been writing recounts, learning about place value, skip counting and using informal units to measure length in Mathematics. They are building stamina when reading Just Right Books independently. They have been learning how to use Book Creator on the iPads and performed a great dance after five weeks of training with Alex and Chantel from The Australian Ballet.

Holiday Homework
Each student has been sent home with a Holiday Homework Pack. It has handwriting, word study activities and a grid where your child can choose different activities to do. It is important that reading happens every day.
