Triple P Parenting Workshops

Supermarket meltdowns? Mealtime tantrums? Selective eating? Bedtime battles? When you are the parent or caregiver of a child with a disability, life can sometimes be extra challenging.

Triple P Stepping Stones is an evidence based positive parenting program, developed in Australia and effectively used worldwide.

Triple P Stepping Stones Seminars will be offered at Marangaroo Primary School during Term 2 by Anna Mouton, an accredited facilitator. Anna has provided Stepping Stones programs to more than 20 families over the last 3 years, with astounding results. The following is a testimonial of one of the parents:

This program has been transformative for us. My husband and I were not on the same parenting page. I wanted a proven parenting approach that took into account my child’s unique neurology and behaviour. He wanted something very structured, “no nonsense” and measurable. Triple P put us both on the same parenting page!

These seminars will tackle the most common issues for parents of children with a disability and bring together a group of parents. Each seminar takes just 90 minutes and you can do one, two or all three in the series. The topics in the series are:

Positive Parenting for Children with a Disability;

Helping your Child Reach their Potential;

and Changing Problem Behaviour into Positive Behaviour
