ANZAC Day

A convoy of veterans in vintage jeeps, were joined by a number of Great Southern Grammar students and the GSG Pipe Band in the ANZAC Day march. The ANZAC Day ceremony at the Peace Park, acknowledged the contribution of Australian men and women who gave so much service so we can enjoy today’s freedom. Keynote speaker, retired Brigadier Geoff Hand, spoke about the significant roles Albany played in world wars, especially as a submarine base in World War II. We extend our congratulations to Special Functions Chairman, Michael Tugwell, and the RSL Albany Sub Branch. Students also attended ceremonies in Denmark and Mount Barker where the RSL Sub Branches hosted services.

Multi-Purpose Sport Complex car park

I would like to remind parents of the importance of not parking in the Multi-Purpose Sport Complex drop off/pick up bays.  Could I please encourage parents to use the parking bays if waiting to collect children. This will improve student safety and alleviate congestion.
