Year 5
In today's session boys and girls brainstormed things they like and then compared them. We are more similar than we thought! We tore up the bottles full of 'labels' because 'labels are not for people'. Together we learned that everyone looks different but we all have similar needs.
We started to fill our own 'jar' with labels that define us.
Year 2
The Year 2's explored the ways we are all alike, and the ways we are different, as we investigated foods and activities we liked, or didn't like as much.
We then created a self portrait surrounded by the things that we like or that are special about us. It was an insightful and enjoyable experience for the students.
Does your household have any odd socks lurking in them?
Well, CSPS definitely has a day for those socks!
As part of Respectful Relationships we are celebrating our uniqueness by having "Odd Sock Day" on Wednesday 16th June. Students and staff are encouraged to wear odd socks and celebrate how we are all perfectly imperfect.
Could each student to bring a spare sock that can be used to make a puppet or something else as a class activity.
