School Council President Report

School Council President's Report - May

Hi IPS School Community,

This month, the School Council had a chance to reflect on a series of achievements that I believe the whole school community can feel very proud of.

2020 Ivanhoe Primary School Annual Report

What is it?  A reflection back on how the school/students performed when compared with the state and schools that have similar socio economic/demographics to IPS in the past 12 months

How did we do? In a word, fantastically!

Our school community (the school, teachers, students and of course – us, the caregivers/parents/relatives) put in a mammoth effort throughout lockdown and this led to

Beehive Official Opening

What a treat to  see so many happy faces joining us on the Soccer Pitch. I would like to acknowledge once again, our previous president, Kelly Toghill, Mark and Pam’s efforts in bringing this world class classroom offering to life.

As our second event on school grounds since COVID, it feels that our School Community is making a comeback!  It makes me feel buoyed and optimistic about what is to come between now and the fair.

The orchestra delivered a terrific performance – we are so fortunate to have such a rich and engaged strings program that truly sets our school apart.

Sub-committee focus areas

  • We are commencing the search for a new OSHC Coordinator to replace Edwina when she retires.
  • School Finances are in a strong position, which we are strengthening with additional guidelines for fundraising spending.
  • Mothers’ Day stall has been a huge success with incredible community engagement – well done!

If anyone has any ideas, feedback or questions for School Council, or even if you’re looking for some ideas on how you could connect more to the school community…..please reach out

Your IPS School Council President,

Kerri Fuller
