Northcote High School is located in a high-density area, where peak times see thousands of students and commuters using the local trains, trams and roads. For the good of all of our community, please ensure that you are being considerate, using common sense and obeying road and transport safety laws when travelling to and from school.
In particular, please be patient and careful when crossing roads - USE THE CROSSING ONLY - and when alighting from cars. Parents, if you are dropping off or picking up your child from school, please drive carefully, use the side streets and make sure you pull over and come to a complete stop as your child gets in and out of the car. The circular driveway is very busy with pedestrians in the mornings and straight after school: unless your child has mobility issues, please try to avoid pick-ups and drop-offs there during peak times.
