Easter Craft

Year 3 and 4 students have been learning about different cultures' symbols of Easter. They learned that 400 years ago, one of the ways Germans celebrated the ending of Lent, was for good boys and girls being left real eggs, laid in nests, by the Osterhose or Easter Hare. The eggs were carried in cane backpacks or wooden wheelbarrows.

Here are some of their depictions of the Easter Hare. They have been very creative and particular in their attention to detail.
