Our Lady of Fatima Rosebud - 'Happy Kids, Happy Teachers, Happy Parents'

Dear Families,

We have a lot to be thankful for as we embark on our very close journey to Easter and the holiday break. We give thanks for the community of Fatima – wonderful, busy people all around us working for the place we all love to come to each day.

Congratulations to all teachers and children for the fine way that they are working on their learning growth this Term. It is great to be able to go in to all learning spaces through my week and see the wonderful strategies and concepts being taught and the students working so well to understand their learning intentions.

A very big congratulations to Sadie Jobling from 4C for her 'seed idea' of creating the guessing how many eggs are in the jar for Project Compassion. Sadie created this fundraiser herself and raised $131.00 with her own voice leading the way.

Congratulations to all of the Fatima community for an outstanding Lent fund raising effort.

Pancake day: $350.00

Hot dog day: $640.00

Easter raffle $580.00

Easter egg Jar: $131.00

Total: $1,701.00

Sadie all the way!

This is an outstanding contribution to Caritas Australia in enabling them to continue the great work in our communities.

This week we farewell two wonderful families who have been a part of our community for many years; the Kelly family, Veronica (3B), Rosalie, Duane & Ruby. We wish them much happiness as they begin their new lives in Tasmania. And the Aridi family, Eric (5/6M), Sally, Eddie and Robbie (past student) who are relocating to live in Lebanon.  I know the community of Our Lady of Fatima will miss you all very much and we send you off with the best wishes for what awaits you in the years ahead and thank you for your friendship and support during your time at Our Lady of Fatima.

Please make sure that your Easter is a sacred and blessed one. There are many among us who are going through very hard times at present. We keep them in our prayers especially at Easter. Look after yourselves in the holiday break, stay safe and I look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces in Term 2. Thank you for your great support in Term 1. Happy Easter.

Go gently and as always, if you have any feedback, questions or ideas we’d love to hear about them. Positive feedback drives our work forward. Positive interactions drive our work forward.

God Bless,

Patrika Rowley
