Anzac Assembly Service 2021

This year we held our 1st Anzac Assembly Service and what a truly beautiful and emotional event it was.

Firstly we would like to thank Jim Dale from the Highett RSL for coming to our service and sharing some information to our students and families about war medals. The students were so interested to learn how different medals and their ribbons mean different things and that a soldier can tell how long they have served or what they have been through just by looking at what medals they are wearing. Jim is a world of knowledge not just about the war but he knows all about our local City of Kingston / Bayside area and we were so grateful to have him attend our special service and share with us.

Secondly a big thank you to all our families for attending. It was so lovely to see everyone come together to pay their respects to our fallen heroes.

and lastly to our AMAZING students who ran the service. We are so proud of you all. From singing songs, reciting poems, writing speeches, presenting posters and all in front of a crowd. You all showed excellent leadership. To the rest of the students who all sat patiently and showed such respect during the service, well done! What a fabulous school community we have.
