1st Africa Healthcare Awards & Summit

According to a technical report by the World Health Organization (WHO) of a meeting held in July 2020 in Geneva, Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs) require all players on board. 

The members present at the meeting recognized the need to have Universal Health Coverage (UHC) packaged in such a way that it guaranteed the inclusion of NCD services. 

This forms the foundation of Zenith Global Health's focus on diabetes and cancer at their annual summit.

Zenith Global Health was founded in 2016 by President Ms. Mary Akangbe (Nigerian) who is passionate about health and healthcare professionals. Mary has over 29 years’ experience in health, she is a surgical nurse who has majored in minimal invasive surgery, health technology & robotics based in London. The term Zenith is often related to success or successful completion of a task. 

Health space is one sector that they strive to make success and quality outcome of paramount importance in all area.

There are the Oscars for the cinematic achievements, the Emmys for television and the Grammys for the music industry, for our counterparts in the entertainment industry. That is how the opportunity to have Zenith Healthcare Awards for healthcare professional came to play. The Zenith awards have taken place from 2016 in London-UK and now for the first time in Africa. 

Healthcare and allied healthcare professionals go beyond the call of duty to endure delivery and sustenance of quality care for patients globally. However, they are often not acknowledged and celebrated for the groundbreaking work that they do globally through upholding excellence in healthcare.
