Healthcare Excellence Canada is a new organization with a relentless focus on improving healthcare, with – and for – everyone in Canada.

HEC brings together the Canadian Patient Safety Institute and Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement. 

Despite all our achievements, safe and high-quality healthcare is not yet a reality for everyone in Canada. 

Our story is about coming together – people and organizations, across boundaries and silos, working through the messiness and uncertainty during a global pandemic – because we share a dedication to the belief that everyone in Canada deserves excellent healthcare. 

This story has shaped the core of who we are as Healthcare Excellence Canada.
