This Week's Updates

Dear Families,

Welcome back to Term Two. Today’s School Closure Day has been an extremely productive day so far with almost our entire staff able to work together on two initiatives.

We have been finalising the structure and format of our new reporting package and how this will provide parents with greater detailed information about student achievements throughout the semester.

We have also been participating in a Catholic Education professional learning initiative;  The Intervention Framework. This entails having all staff having a common understanding and approach towards planning to better cater for EVERY student’s individual needs.

We look forward to an exciting term with a few highlights such as; First Eucharist celebrations for many Year 4s, Concert preparations to commence for all year levels, camp preparations for Year 5s, our Grandparents Day and a lot of high quality learning and teaching throughout the whole school.

Next Monday morning at our 8.50am assembly we will have an ANZAC day prayer service.  Children are invited to bring a flower from their garden to place around the flagpole during the ceremony. Parents are welcome to stay and join us.

Good news!  We are planning our Grandparent's Day for Friday 7 May, given that COVID restrictions remain the same.  Invitations will go home this week for the children to give/send to their grandparents.  RSVPs are necessary.  Any changes due to COVID or weather will be sent to families and we'll ask you to ensure all guests be updated.
