Victorian High Ability Program Review/Summary
Last term, we completed the Victorian High Ability Program, the program was designed to give students who are doing work above their grade/year level to do work that gives the students work at their level. The program had two courses, a Maths program and an English program. During the English program we looked at Dystopian writings and Dystopia in general, along with some things on vocabulary and writing. We looked at some popular dystopian novels and some that have been adapted to grace the big screen, such as ‘The Hunger Games’ and ‘Divergent’.
