Total Wellbeing Fundraiser

Mother's Day craft stall success

Congratulations to the Year 10 Total Wellbeing class for running a very successful Mother’s Day stall. The students have been busy planning and preparing for the stall since last term. They made all of the items for sale, promoted the event to our year 7 cohort and gave up their lunchtime to serve at the stall. The class did an amazing job, and I am thrilled to report that we raised $464 for our chosen charity, The Ayui Foundation in Northern Thailand. Ayui Foundation support disadvantaged Akha hilltribe teenagers by providing access to education, healthcare, food and accommodation. These funds will be used to build a new well for the boys’ home.

Special mention to Emily Spicer for making all of the beautiful crochet flowers in your own time. Thank you to Ms Jacobs for your design support and Louise in the office for your help with the finances.
