Behind the scenes at the Opera

On Tuesday the 4th of May, the senior choir travelled to the Melbourne Arts Centre in the city, after receiving the opportunity to exclusively watch the dress rehearsal for an opera by the name of ‘Aida.’

The use of digital sets were an amazing way to represent the setting of each scene, including live animations and pictures. The detailing in the costumes were stunning, and the opera singers themselves were extremely talented and conveyed the story to the audience flawlessly. It was overall an awesome experience that we’ll never forget.
