Inter School Sport

Every Friday morning throughout Term 1 the Grade 6 students and selected Grade 5 students participated in the Summer Inter School Sport program. In this program students form a team then play their sport each week against teams from other schools in the Ringwood North area. The sports played are Tee Ball, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Tennis and Lacrosse.

All our teams played very well throughout the term, displaying great skill and excellent sportsmanship. A special mention to the following teams; Cricket Boys, Basketball Girls and Boys, Lacrosse Mixed and Volleyball Girls. These teams all made it through to the Ringwood North District Playoff Grand Final as they finished in top positions on the ladder.

The results from their playoff Grand Final were as follows;

  • Cricket Boys: Kalinda lost against Antonio Park.

Kalinda awarded the Ringwood North District Runners Up.

  • Basketball Boys: Kalinda won against Eastwood.

Kalinda awarded the Ringwood North District Winners.

  • Basketball Girls: Kalinda lost against Eastwood.

Kalinda awarded the Ringwood North District Runners Up.

  • Volleyball Girls: Kalinda lost against Heathmont East.

Kalinda awarded the Ringwood North District Runners Up.

  • Lacrosse Mixed: Kalinda won against Dorset.

Kalinda awarded the Ringwood North District Winners.

There are 10 schools in the Ringwood North District and for so many teams to finish in either first or second place is outstanding, and an excellent achievement.

Well done again to all students involved, we wish the teams who finished in first place all the best as they progress through to division.
