Drama and Theatre Studies 

It has been fantastic to return to the theatre this term to see live performances. The VCE Theatre Studies class have ventured into the city for the Top Class performance and also went to a powerful new Australian play called ‘Lamb’ at the Shirley Burke Theatre. 

The Year 10 Script and Performance class attended a colourful and energetic performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ in the Botanical Gardens. Students will analyse the performances as part of course work and will apply the knowledge they have developed to their own creative projects.

Stay tuned for news about our live shows in Term 2. VCE Theatre studies will present ‘A Servant of Two Masters’ and the Year 10 Script and Performance class will present an Australian play called ‘Dreams’.

Library 

The library ran a 'book face' activity over term 1. Students were encouraged to select a  book with a suitable cover, have a their photo taken, read the book and on return give a quick critique. Some of the participants pics are below:
